Job Requirements

• PSW Certificate
• Current CPR/First Aid training
• Current Police Record Check or be willing to obtain one
• Ability to travel throughout York Region and surrounding area

• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
• Able to independently lift 23 kilograms
• Able to assist clients with standing, walking, sitting and rolling in bed
• Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Nurse manager

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Respond to patient referrals within an appropriate timeline
• Develop and document care plan for client
• Ensure Patient and Care Providers are safe
• Reassess patients at regular visits to ensure the care plan is appropriate
• Be responsible for investigation, resolution and reporting of all customer related complaints
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of appropriate documentation, including client charting
• Actively identify and prevent potential risks with clients
• Ensure policies and procedures are enforced and reflect best practices

Job Requirements

• Current CPR/First Aid training
• Current Police Record Check or be willing to obtain one
• Ability to travel throughout York Region and surrounding area

• Current registration with College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as a Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse

Hospall Private Homecare is a leading private care organization serving clients in their own homes. Our clients are in the York Region and Innisfil, Ontario.
We are currently seeking a causal Foot Care Nurse, who as a valuable member of the Community Health Centre team, will provide foot care services and assist in the delivery of primary care services to the clients we serve with a strong emphasis on disease prevention, health promotion, education, and empowerment. The causal status Footcare nurse will have no schedule the shifts will be offered to work and a minimum of 2 Footcare shifts per month.

Qualifications

• Current certification of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Minimum one year’s work experience as a Foot Care Nurse.
• Thorough knowledge and proficiency in current nursing procedures, nursing assessment, physical assessments, and treatment measures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Certification in Basic and Advanced Foot Care is required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Demonstrated commitment to knowledge of community-based health care.
• Basic computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
• Experience working with electronic medical records preferred.
• A current driver's license and access to a vehicle.
