Going for my annual mammogram and 10 years of being cancer free, I got the devastating news that it was back and I needed to have a bilateral mastectomy. After surgery and upon my discharge from the hospital, my husband spoke with Erwin at HosPall! He met us at home with one of his nursing team members. I had 5 drains that needed to be drained and measured 3 times a day. Erwin put together a team of 3 extraordinary professional nurses! Not only were they kind, gentle, sympathetic, respectful, it felt like I had family helping me daily. Each nurse came promptly at the predetermined time and helped me not only physically but emotionally! I would truly recommend a HosPall team member to assist your family or friends with any needs that they have. HosPall is the best in York Region! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! 🙏🏻 Lynn

I am incredibly impressed with the professionalism, compassion, and exceptional service provided by Hospall Private Homecare Inc. in King City, ON. At 55 years old and requiring abdominal surgery in a few months, I wanted to ensure I had proper care post-surgery. I reached out to Hospall via email and received a response within 24 hours, followed by a personal call from Bruce Frauley, the Chief Operating Officer. Bruce spent 20 minutes with me on the phone, answering all my questions and reassuring me that their team could provide the precise care I need post-surgery. His knowledge, professionalism, and calming demeanor put my mind completely at ease during what could have been a stressful process. After my call with Bruce, I received an email from Karen Dubeau, Director of Operations and Innovation, who provided me with a simple form to confirm my request for support when my surgery date is finalized. I was particularly impressed to learn that Karen has been a nurse for over 30 years, which added another layer of confidence to my decision. Knowing that Hospall is an Accredited company reassures me that their standards and commitment to excellence are top-notch. The sign-up process was incredibly straightforward, and I’m grateful for the flexibility they offer in adapting the care plan to my specific needs. They even allow for adjustments day-to-day, depending on how I’m feeling post-surgery. This level of personalized care and attention is truly remarkable. There are not enough words to express the excellent care our mom is receiving! From my heart and soul....the people coming into her home are so very respectful, kind, positive, appropriate humour and very qualified! Ensuring she is safe. Excellent teamwork and communication. They treat her with such dignity and respect, as an individual, with a focus on her needs, not treating her like an older person. The house is also kept very clean and tidy as with her meals being provided. As we come and go they know who we are and will sit out while we have a private visit unless they are needed. We’ve been using Hospall’s services for Respite Care as my wife’s mobility has been severely reduced due to scoliosis, osteoporosis and multiple fractures. The support offered by her staff is first rate. Clearly, Michelle takes great care to hire the right people. And communication is rapid and effective, whether by phone, e-mail or in person. Thumbs up to Juliana, Karen and Erwin and all of the home care folks who are making our life easier.

I was referred to Hospall and Michelle by a Friend of mine who saw that I needed help with finding some respite care for a Family Member while we were away. I am so very happy with the kind of care and companionship that was given to my Family member. They were professional from the get-go. Always on time and never left earlier than their shifts ended. They are kind, compassionate and continually engaging with the Client. None of this nonsense of being on their cell phones while with a Client like another agency I won't mention here. Hire Hospall with confidence that your Family member will be taken care of. Cheers to all!

Working with the Hospall team has been a god-send for our family. They took great care of my in-laws in Richmond Hill before they passed and now help me care for my sick mother and husband in Toronto. I don't know what I would do without Erwin - he helps me navigate symptoms and the medical system, coordinates kind and empathetic PSWs quickly when I need coverage, and is an incredible sounding board for my worries and concerns. He routinely goes above and beyond to help and for that I am incredibly grateful. We all look forward to his visits and having his warm and engaging personality in the house!

Truly caring people that employ truly caring people. Connecting with Michele and the Hospall team was exactly what my family needed when finding homecare for my elderly father. Starting with a respectful and transparent in home meeting with Michelle, my parents felt comfortable and hopeful immediately. All managers and caregivers are personable, caring and easy to communicate with.

Our family would highly recommend HosPall. The team is well trained and takes extra care to provide a very high level of personal care services. We switched to them from another (unnamed) in-home care provider for our parents and we immediately realized HosPall was far superior while charging about a third of the cost of the other company. Michelle and team are very responsive and flexible in setting up a care plan that suits.

Hospall Care I am writing to all of you to express my sincere gratitude for your staff’s wonderful care. While I was on holidays, my parents both tested positive for Covid. I am so grateful that their PSW, Zahrah, who noticed my dad was having a hard time breathing… took immediate action and she, along with Erwin, had my dad go to the hospital. And we are so thankful that they are both still involved and are continuing with their expertise and wonderful care. I would highly recommend Michelle and her company! My Aunt, Rose Ott, wished to stay in her home till the end, while she fought Pancreatic Cancer. The Hospall team was there for her in the last 2-1/2 months. They cared for her in a very compassionate and professional manner. Rose was never left alone, if other care professionals were late or behind schedule, they stayed to ensure she had care. The management and care nurses managed everything and stayed in touch with the public sector professionals at all times. I was always updated on her status or any changes, or if they felt something was being handles in an improper way I could go on and on as to how great they are, just remember this, if you or a family member needs great care, contact Michelle at Hospall, and they will treat you properly

Hospall was a God send. My father was diagnosed with bone cancer and we needed someone to give him meals, meds and companionship as my sisters and I all worked. We hired Hospall and they were amazing. Everyone at Hospall was fantastic.....from the caring, attentive PSWs, Maria and Grace....to Erwin, the nurse manager....he was the BEST (definitely my favorite) very accommodating, genuine, caring person and Michelle the CEO....always very professional, polite and attentive. I highly recommend them!

BEST AGENCY IN GTA. My father had a stroke 3 years ago and recently passed away. I had been through a few agencies trying to organize consistent 24 hour care for my dad. I struggled to balance of consistent and quality caregiving until I read reviews on HOSPALL a few months ago. I am nurse myself so admittedly my expectations were high. To say the HOSPALL owner and caregivers went above and beyond to give my dad a quality of life when he was alive and literally in the hospital during his last few days is an understatement. I do know know what I would have done without their support. They are now helping my mother who’s health has deteriorated. Their PSW’s and nurses are punctual, kind, professional and knowledgeable Please read this and know you do not have to go anywhere else. This is by far the BEST agency I have found in the GTA!!

This is the second time , I have used Hospall Homecare. Five years ago , I required nursing assistance, at short notice after my wifes breast cancer surgery. I was sent a very capable and experienced nurse, who helped with bathing, feeding, administering meds, checking blood pressure , heart rate ,etc. I was very happy with their service and kept their phone number on file.. Fast forward five years and on Sept, 21 , 2022. I had full knee replacement surgery. As is the case now a days , I was sent home from the hospital five hours post surgery. I knew my wife would not be able to properly care for me. I called Michelle's office thay sent me a caregiver{ named Sam} who arrived right on time at 9 am the next morning. Sam was GREAT !! He bathed me and exercised me on a regular schedule, He helped my wife with household chores , and enabled my wife to get out to her appointments, with confidence that I would be OK under Sam's care while she was out.... I used the service for five days ,, Sam was on time, cheerful , very knowledgeable about my surgery and meds... I will keep Michelle's phone number on file for any future requirements.. I would highly recommend Hospall Homecare,, to any one requiring their services.

I would just like you to know that if you are reading this review, that I am a person who has very high expectations. Michelle and her team met and exceeded my expectations. Michelle and Erwin are hands on people. The caring people who come out to take care of your loved one, treat them as a person and not a number. They listen and act on any situation may it be small or large. I just want to say thank you to the whole team for the support and care you provide. When your loved one is in need of help and you are not sure how to deal, it is of great comfort to have people like you there who care as much as you do.

I've had the pleasure of knowing Michelle for over 30 years when she worked as a nurse in my doctor's office. I've known Erwin for quite a number of years as well too. Both amazing at their jobs. We hired Hospall to assist my parent's during a difficult time over the last year. Michelle, Erwin, Ramen and her team of caregivers have been wonderful to my parents; patient and attentive. They have done a terrific job assisting with the care of my parents especially my Dad who was recently diagnosed with dementia and when my Mom was sick last year with cancer. I couldn't have done it without their help. Thank you Michelle, Erwin and team.

Michelle is wonderful! She is hands on from the start, quick to put support in place and offers her continued support throughout. Michelle is kind and extremely flexible to meet the needs of my mom and the family. Erwin is great! He, along with the Caregivers, work hard to ensure all questions/concerns are addressed. On behalf of my family we want to thank Michelle, Erwin and all of the amazing staff who took care of our mom for aftercare of her hip replacement. Michelle came in and met mom and myself and she explained exactly what her company does, everything she said came true, she also assessed the unit where mom lives and made some suggestions for mom's safety. All of the staff were always attentive in every way for mom, helping mom with her meds, comfort her when in pain by massaging her leg when needed, helping mom walk and encouraging her, taking regular notes of her day and taking blood pressure and noting it for staff to know when the shift changed, also caring for her personal needs from showering, cooking to regular household chores and taking mom to Dr's. appointments and grocery shopping, this was a huge relief to know mom was in good hands. We highly recommend Michelle and Hospall anytime. Thanks so much! The Chiappetta Family

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! WHAT MORE CAN I SAY! Erwin has been a life saver. My father was diagnosed with bone cancer and we needed to find him home care as we had exhausted all our time off work. Erwin and his care providers are fantastic. I was able to set my father up with home care within days. Hospall keeps me informed of everything....the caregivers are friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile.....they are a great company to deal with. If you're looking for home health care for a loved one, I can't say enough good things about Erwin and Hospall.

When we found out our dad needed palliative care, the decision was made for him to be at home and have Hospall look after his care. Arrangements were made and in 12 hours he was home! Michelle and Erwin were very responsive and so helpful to our family. Their amazing team, Yaghoob, MJ, Majid and Charity provided excellent care to dad while showing compassion and kindness to mum and the whole family. Hospall helped my dad finished his last part of his life. Everyone in the team are angles sent from God, without them me and my family will go no where, we will get lost in pain and sadness forever. They helped us physically and mentally. It was not a easy path for everyone in the family, but Hospall helped us went through it smoothly. I am very grateful with Hospall’s professional service. Hospall provided outstanding private homeware support for my elderly parents for more than 6 years; a time period during which the kind of support required significantly changed but included cooking, light housekeeping, companionship, more intensive nursing care and finally palliative care. With extensive experience as a healthcare professional, Michelle is well equipped to assess the needs of her clients and to develop comprehensive care plans that support health and well-being in a highly personalized context. Her team represents the epitome of compassionate care and we will be forever grateful for the support they provided to our family as we navigated the final years for both my parents. Hospall provided care for my father in the last few months of his life, and we are so thankful that this wonderful team came and took such good care of him. The team made it so that we didn't have to worry about dad's care, comfort, diet, and were able to enjoy the time we had left with him because we knew he was in such good hands. After using multiple care providers over the last year I can say that the Hospall team outshines all in professionalism, response time, compassion, reliability, and true partnership.

Michelle met my Mom and Dad at my home in order for us all to get a feel for her and Hospall. My Mom was dying of pancreatic cancer, and the plan was for my Dad to live with us with support from Hospall. We were all very impressed with Michelle's professionalism, experience and dedication to personalized at home healthcare. While we were in the process of working out a schedule with Michelle, not long after my Mom passed, my Dad had a massive heart attack. My Dad did not want any emergency interventions, and Michelle was instrumental in helping us through the assessment and palliative process in order to meet his wishes. Her advice, availability and compassion were a Godsend during a very stressful and emotional time.

In 2021, my husband, Bill, and I decided to remove his mother from the retirement where she was living (she wasn’t thriving), had been rushed to the local hospital on 3 occasions, and wasn’t permitted to see family members, unless they were designated “caregivers”. We looked at local homecare services, and had heard good things about Hospall Private Homecare serving King Township and surrounding area. I can confidently state that the “good things” we heard about Hospall were under-stated.they are fabulous. We hired Hospall for 4 hours per day, 5 days a week, and Mom received the best care. Attention was given to her state of mind for activities each, and every day, and the level of compassion that was demonstrated by these caregivers was not unlike family. In fact, my husband and I commented that we should have hired Hospall Private Homecare rather than moving her into an assisted living facility. Hospall is professional, knowledgeable, courteous, compassionate, thoughtful, always on time, fulfill the wishes of the client and/or family, and the Team is well educated. We shared with Michelle and Bruce the kind of atmosphere we wanted Mom to have, given her Dementia and Cancer Care, and we watched as Mom became the happier version of who she used to be surrounded by her family, and getting the requisite personal care she required from Hospall Private Homecare. My husband, Bill, and I commend the work ethic and compassion demonstrated by Hospall Private Homecare, and strongly recommend them for any homecare service any individual or family requires….they become Family.

Michelle keeps her client number manageable so she can ensure personalized service and quality of care. She came to our home and not only gave a custom proposal, but did a bit of counselling on the spot! Lovely people! Highly recommended!

When our Mom passed away in 2017, at the recommendation of family friends, my siblings and I engaged Hospall to provide daily care for our Dad and provide peace of mind for us, as none of us lived near Dad. Michele and her team began supporting my Dad with companionship, meals and activities for 3 -4 hours per day and over the years, that time grew as they helped him with many activities of daily living, including Erwin accompanying Dad to regular doctor's visits and so much more. This allowed our 87 year old Dad who was dealing with growing dementia to stay in his own home where he was most comfortable. Over the next 4 years, we adjusted the Hospall hours as Dad's needs required and they never hesitated to make changes when we requested them. When Dad had a stroke in May 2020, Hospall was there to provide 24 hour care immediately, which allowed us to bring him home within 2 days which was such a relief with COVID spreading within the hospital . In late 2020, after Dad regained additional mobility, we made the decision to have him move to assisted living in a retirement home. Again, Hospall continued to visit him daily from 12 - 6pm caring for Dad one-on-one and providing updates to the family, ensuring he was well cared for at all times. As a family, we highly recommend Hospall to other families. Michelle and Erwin were always there for us during these last 4 years of Dad's life providing regular ongoing communication and much appreciated weekly oversight visits by Erwin. Dad's personal caregivers Nancy, Behnaz, Yagoob and Affifeh were very caring, considerate workers who provided Dad with the best care possible. We can't thank them enough for ensuring that Dad was extremely well cared for, loved and supported. We are very lucky to have a company like Hospall that can allow our seniors to age with dignity, fully loved and supported to the very end.

Michelle and her wonderful team at Hospall provide 24-hour live-in care for my wife who suffers from advanced Parkinson's disease. The standards and consistency of care are superb! The team not only ensures that she has the best possible quality of life but helps identify and deal with any developing health issues. The care-givers are personable and fun to have around. Before discovering Hospall, we had unsatisfactory experiences with several other care providers. Hospall has outshone them all! David B.

Michelle, Bruce and their Team assisted me with the palliative care for my wife of over 36 years. She spent three months in the Margaret Bahen Hospice and then seven months at home under the care of Michelle, Bruce and their Team until her death. I've know Michelle to be one of the most genuine and caring individuals. Her professionalism and attention to the care of others is absolutely the best. There are many options doe indicates roe private xare. If this is something that is important to you then you can be assured this organization will make sure there is a genuine fit and provide the highest level care. All staff is caring and helpful. They are available at a moment's notice to assist with any care. Hospall has been part of our family through palliative care, to assisting a loved one at the hospital during emergencies and surgeries and for personal homecare. We recommend them to everyone we know looking for some homecare assistance

I booked home support through HosPall for a elderly friend who is suffering from dementia. I cannot say enough good things about the services available and the quality of care that their PSW is providing. The services I have booked for my friend are home support including house cleaning and laundry, grocery shopping, chiropody, and a monthly check-in with a nurse/manager. The PSW has worked hard to develop a caring relationship with my friend and there is a noticeable improvement in my friend's mood. Michelle Frauley, the CEO of Hospall, was extremely accommodating in developing a support plan for my friend. She is quick to respond to all of my questions. If I needed home support for a family member, I would not hesitate to call HosPall.

Meeting Michelle at Hospall was one of the best things that could have happened to us as a family unsure how to care for an aging parent with dementia that wanted to be cared for at home. She is such a genuine and calming person that helped us feel comfortable with making our decisions. And who better to help us than someone who had a nursing career helping people for so many years in our very own community! Hospall has a very DEPENDABLE team (Important!) --- Michelle has very compassionate & qualified people working with her, and very high standards for care of both her clients AND her staff. We highly recommend Hospall to help with any elderly or health home care. They go the extra mile in all situations, have been there for us any time of day/night, and we hold great respect for the job they are doing that we as the adult children cannot do. Thank you again Michelle, Bruce, Erwin, Ramen, and ALL the Hospall caregivers that really DO care about our families, and made us feel like part of theirs.

“Michelle and her team took on managing the palliative care of my father and since have undertaken the complete care of my mother who has advanced dementia and requires around the clock care. They have taken the load fully from the children, have provided timely reporting, my mother’s physical health couldn’t be better and in consideration of her state is as happy and comfortable as we could possibly wish for.
